TCTP: What was your favorite show you were a part of in high school?
OH: I actually was not apart of any ‘official’ high school shows, I went to a small charter school on the northwest side of Chicago and though I did choir, I was more involved with outside activities. My fondest memories were working with Gallery 37, Chicago Opera Theatre For Teens and After School Matters!
TCTP: Have you actually read Moby Dick?
OH: I’m currently reading Moby Dick, I have not read it before today - I like to research roles before I take them on, I’m playing a bit of catch up.
TCTP: What is a piece of classical literature you would love to see turned into a musical?
OH: Honestly, The Scarlet Letter would be extremely interesting as a musical (although I believe it has been touched on?) My version would have to be EDM Yodeling score...obviously, haha. Also 1984 would be unbelievably relevant currently so that's another top choice of mine.
TCTP: Do you have a personal white whale? What is it? (Interpret how you wish.)
OH: Is the Whale even real? Also, it represents a multitude of ideas so sure, I have a few white whales. I suppose mine, through my lens, is my place in the world and my existence, significance and overall impact my presence in the world has as a whole and to those around me.
TCTP: What’s the most thrown together show you’ve ever done?
OH: Most thrown together show I’ve ever done is my life. That’s it. I’m winging my life better than my eyeliner though so that's an accomplishment!
