Grace DeSant is a Chicago-based performance and theatre artist. Her first show acting with Cuckoo’s Theater Project was in DISTRACTED (Sherry U/S), and she directed and choreographed THE BUTTCRACKER (Cuckoo’s Theater Project/Tom Boi Theatricals, 2016) under her burlesque persona Foxie la Fleur. A regular at the KISS KISS CABARET, her burlesque performance and choreography can also be seen all over Chicago at BORDEL, BACKDOOR SALOON, VAUDEZILLA and SMUDGED LIPSTICK REVUE. Other favorite credits include MOON PRISM POWER: A SAILOR MOON MUSICAL PARODY (Queen Beryl/choreographer) (Otherworld Theatre), 12TH NIGHT (Viola) (GMan Tavern), TIL DEATH DO US PARTICLE - Paragon Play Festival (Daphne) (Otherworld Theatre), THE SNOW QUEEN (Gerda U/S) (Filament Theatre Ensemble) and ALL MY SONS (Sue Bayliss) (Millikin University). Grace received her degree in theatre and dance at Millikin University. This is her first project as a props designer.

TCTP: What is your weapon of choice in the apocalypse?
GD: Firearms and explosives
TCTP: What’s your signature dish that you bring to barbecues?
GD: Lemon Dill Potato Salad - it is THE BEST.
TCTP: Which character in BARBECUE APOCALYPSE are you actually most like?
GD: Definitely Lulu!
TCTP: What’s your favorite end of the world movie and/or book?
GD: The Hunger Games series
TCTP: What kind of apocalypse (zombie, nuclear, environmental, etc.) would you survive the longest in?
GD: Probably an environmental, thanks to my knowledge of off-grid, self sustaining living. I’d definitely die in a zombie apocalypse quickly, because zombies are my worst irrational fear LOL
