TCTP: What’s your nerdy guilty pleasure/What’s your fandom?
HG: My nerdy guilty pleasure is SNL. I still enjoy watching the show. I don't watch it religiously like I used to, but I almost have the entire DVD collection of "The Best Of...". I also love game nights where you play games that make you scream at one another like Catchphrase, Taboo, Gestures, Pictionary, and Speak Out.
TCTP: What clique were you in in high school?
HG: I was all over the place in hight school. I was a cheerleader, ran track, was the weird theatre girl, could shot-gun a beer and outrun the Sheriffs when our parties got busted, had my remote controlled fart-machine confiscated by my math teacher, but was also a straight "A" student. I guess my "clique" in high school was what you would consider the hippie/stoner group? We usually hung out every weekend and after school. Partied and sometimes got caught. We still keep in contact though. We've been to Burning Man together, have spent Holidays together, and have seen each other get married and become parents. That's the fun part about growing up in a small town. When I go back to visit my hometown, its always a reunion.
TCTP: What secret did you have as a 15 year old?
HG: All the other girls seemed to have "become a woman" by that age and hit puberty. I lied several times saying I had, but it was obvious I had not. I was like 4'10", 90 pounds with braces (wearing head gear at night) and wearing little girl size clothes from JC Penney or hand-me down from my cool older friend, Marisa. I didn't even have mosquito bites for boobs yet, and I screamed for joy when I could finally wear 00 in Junior sizes. I quickly realized puberty wasn't all what it was cracked up to be.
TCTP: If you had a month to live, what would you do?
HG: If I had one month to live, I would most definitely move home to be with my family, my husband, and our dogs. We are a crazy bunch, but I would spend every last second with those psychos.
TCTP: Who would you play as? Demon queen, dark elf, half orc wizard, or rogue gnome?
HG: I've never played D&D, but I guess I would be a gnome because they are tricksters. I like playing pranks and being pranked.
