Get to know Kelsey! :
TCTP: The characters that live after the incident spend a lot of time looking over their shoulders. What is one of your biggest fears?
KR: One of my biggest fears is becoming comfortable and complacent with where I'm at in life. I always want to be working towards becoming a better person in one way or another.
TCTP: To deal with what happened that night, some characters turn to certain means of escape. What is your biggest vice?
KR: My biggest vice might be the incredibly excessive amount of time I spend with my dogs. I'm happy with it, but I've definitely chosen my dogs over people several times.
TCTP: Tattoos/Body Alterations (best way we could say it with no spoilers) are are a recurring image in the play. Do you have any tattoos/piercings, etc?
TCTP: The incident started from a group of teenagers having a night of dumb, reckless, fun. What’s a dumb thing you did when you were young?
KR: When I was in college, a friend and I went to Germany for spring break. Neither of us had ever been skiing but we decided since we were staying in the Swiss Alps, we needed to try. Being poor college students, we didn't want to pay for lessons so we rented the gear, took the lift to the top, and watched what other people did. We got really good at going but were really bad at stopping gracefully. Unfortunately, the visibility on the mountain that day was horrendous so we did a lot of stop and go to make sure we didn't go flying down the wrong side of the mountain. We got nearly halfway down the mountain and after diving off to the side to stop myself (again, not graceful at all), my ski fell off. This had happened plenty of times already but this time, no matter how hard we tried, we could not get it back on! We ended up having to walk all the way back up the mountain and take the lift to the bottom.
TCTP: The majority of the characters are coupled up at the beginning of the play. Who was your first young love? Bonus question: Are you still together?
KR: According to my Wishbone diary, my first love was someone named Richard when I was in second grade. No we are not still together and I don't even know what he looks like. He's probably the one that got away though.
