TCTP: What is your weapon of choice in the apocalypse?
GC: Sawed-off shotgun. If I can't get my hands on that, I'd prefer an axe. If the situation were desperate, a good baseball bat would suffice.
TCTP: What’s your signature dish that you bring to barbecues?
GC: I cannot go to barbecues or potlucks without bringing some kind of cocktail. Everyone knows I make a good drink and now I can't escape it!
TCTP: Which character in BARBECUE APOCALYPSE are you actually most like?
GC: Lol, sorry but the answer is Win.
TCTP: What’s your favorite end of the world movie and/or book?
GC: Probably Mad Max Fury Road. It's just so well done in every way and it blows my mind that most of those effects are practicals.
TCTP: What kind of apocalypse (zombie, nuclear, environmental, etc.) would you survive the longest in?
GC: I actually think a zombie apocalypse would be easier to survive in than an environmental apocalypse, depending on the nature of the damage. Like, no water? We're all fucked, nothing to be done, realistically. I think Chicagoans would make it out OK in the event of a nuclear apocalypse, although I'd probably want to head further north. Ditto for global warming - ocean levels just won't be as immediate of a problem for us.
Check out Graham's work in BARBECUE APOCALYPSE running 18 - July 21 at Prop Thtr.
