Cast and Creative Team Announced for The Cuckoo’s Theater Project’s Production of SHE KILLS MONSTERS
The Cuckoo’s Theater Project is excited to announce the cast and creative team of the spring show of their fourth season, SHE KILLS MONSTERS by Qui Nguyen, opening March 16th, 2018 at Prop Thtr.
A comedic romp into the world of fantasy role-playing games, SHE KILLS MONSTERS tells the story of Agnes Evans as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she stumbles into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was Tilly’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.
The cast includes TCTP Company Member Hilary Griffin (Agnes), TCTP Company Member Jillian Leff (Tilly), Matthew Torres (Chuck), Graham Carlson (Miles), TCTP Associate Company Member Aziza Macklin (Vera), Erika Lebby (Lilith), Ari Kraiman (Kaliope), Zach Tabor (Orcus), Madeline Bernhard (Narrator), Michael Charles Saubert Jr. (Steve/Ensemble), Elisabeth Del Toro (Farrah/Ensemble), Liz Lengyel (Evil Gabbi/Ensemble), Keyanna Khatiblou (Evil Tina/Ensemble), with Dina Monk, Katy Campbell, River Denman and Lucia Frisancho serving as understudies.
