Meet the team of LANGUAGE OF ANGELS - Bryan Tims (Sound Design)
Bryan has previously worked with Cuckoo's for sound design on THE FAIRYTALE LIVES OF RUSSIAN GIRLS and THE HEIDI CHRONICLES. He also has created the posters and trailers for their current season. He is excited to be a part of LANGUAGE OF ANGELS and is thankful for his friends, family, and Sara for their support.
Get to know Bryan! :
TCTP: The characters that live after the incident spend a lot of time looking over their shoulders. What is one of your biggest fears?
BT: One of my biggest fears is getting my Achilles' tendon cut and having to crawl away. After I saw Pet Cemetery I have always been terrified of this.
TCTP: To deal with what happened that night, some characters turn to certain means of escape. What is your biggest vice?
BT: My biggest vice right now is Imgur, I'm addicted to imaginary internet points.
TCTP: Tattoos/Body Alterations (best way we could say it with no spoilers) are are a recurring image in the play. Do you have any tattoos/piercings, etc?
BT: I have a tattoo on my forearm/elbow of a leaf and silver acorn. It is a Nordic tradition to carry a silver acorn for good luck and is an homage to my parents.
TCTP: The incident started from a group of teenagers having a night of dumb, reckless, fun. What’s a dumb thing you did when you were young?
BT: I was arrested for trespassing on an Al Paca farm as a minor and had to go to a scared straight program in Detroit. It's a long story and was to impress some girls, like most stupid teenager stories.
TCTP: The majority of the characters are coupled up at the beginning of the play. Who was your first young love? Bonus question: Are you still together?
BT: I was with a girl I met in high school for 10 years but like most high school romances it didn't work out.
Come see Bryan's work in Language of Angels, running February 15 - March 26 at Redtwist Theatre.
